3 Stars Who Will Bounce Back From Last Season NBA Injuries

NBA injuries

NBA injuries are one of the inevitabilities of the game. When they happen to star players, it hurts even more. NBA fans love to watch the stars shine bright when they play. When an injury removes that possibility, it is often disappointing.

Unfortunately, there were many NBA injuries last season, even to star players. Some players come back better than ever. In this article, we predict three stars who are going to have that same type of bounce back season after being sidelined last season due to NBA injuries.

Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal was entering the pinnacle of his basketball career before being sidelined for most of last season due to a wrist injury. The season prior to last season, he had averaged 31.3 points per game, the second-most in the NBA.

Next season, Beal will have a bounce-back year and remind everyone how great of a scorer he has become. The only thing limiting Bradley Beal is his time. The Washington Wizards haven’t been a great team for several seasons, and it doesn’t look like they will be improving any time soon.

There is a chance Beal could be traded to a contender, but if not, he will continue to lead the Wizards and fight for a playoff spot.

Jamal Murray

The Denver Nuggets have still been able to remain a prominent force in the Western Conference, thanks to Nikola Jokic, but they haven’t had much playoff success because they have been missing one of their key players due to some NBA injuries. This season, Jamal Murray will return, along with Michael Porter Jr. Those two players should definitely help the Nuggets be a better team next season.

Specifically in the case of Jamal Murray, the Nuggets are going to get a huge boost. The last time we saw Jamal Murray in the playoffs was in the Bubble in 2020, in which Murray had a breakout postseason, averaging over 26 points per game and leading the Nuggets to the Western Conference Finals after coming back from two 3-1 deficits in the previous series.

Murray is a rising star in the NBA, and he should pick up right where he left off next season.

Kawhi Leonard

We might have reached a point where NBA fans forgot just how good Kawhi Leonard is. When he is healthy, he has a legitimate case to be the best player in the NBA. Leonard missed last season because he was recovering from an injury he suffered in the 2021 playoffs.

Next season, Kawhi has the chance to do something special. Not only is he ready to bounce back from his injury, but the Clippers team surrounding him is going to be better than it ever was before. They have Paul George, who redeemed himself in the 2021 playoffs, ready to be the Robin to Kawhi Leonard’s Batman.

They have one of the deepest lineups in the NBA. They have a good coach who knows how to utilize all the pieces on the team. With Kawhi returning to the lineup, he should be able to galvanize the squad through the example he sets on the court.

The Clippers have a chance to do something special this year, and Kawhi returning to full health is going to be a huge factor.
