This is a tough category to be considered throughout the NBA as the league is jam-packed with all-stars and elite players at the moment. Scoring has increased more than ever which can make deciding between players challenging. Every player on this list is considered to be one of if not the best at their position in the league.
Guard: Steph Curry
The first person to crack this list has to be the three-point chef Steph Curry. Coming off of a championship season and a finals MVP. Most fans may say Curry will fall off in the coming years but there has been no signs to show that will happen.
Curry is healthy as ever and has solid young players around him to keep the energy up during games. With the shooting ability of Curry, it wouldn’t be a challenge next year for him to take a spot in the All-NBA first team.
Guard: Luka Doncic
The first returning player on this list is Luka Doncic, known as Luka Magic. This phenomenal young player makes defenders bend to his game every time he steps on the court. Doncic looks to continue to improve his game in the coming years.
While he is able to stack the stats on stats it has to translate into winning and although the Dallas Mavericks took a big step last year as a team they are still far behind winning a championship. Looking for revenge from last year’s playoffs there’s no doubt this could lead Doncic to be All-NBA first team again.
Forward: Kawhi Leonard
Undoubtedly the dark horse of this list Kawhi Leonard will return after his ACL injury that he had to receive surgery on. At the moment we do not know how this surgery will affect Leonards play. Leonard has been a top player in the league for years now and has been reported to be extremely healthy.
Although it is unknown how he will play Leonard is both a top scorer and defender in the NBA and will be scary when back on the court for the Clippers.
Forward: Giannas Antetokounmpo
Maybe the most obvious on this list, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the most dominant player in the league since Shaq. Giannas is the best player in the league and will only continue to get better, making the All-NBA first team will be no trouble for the Greek Freak.
Center: Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid is an extremely talented center in the league and is set up to have a phenomenal season in 2022-2023. With voter fatigue most likely being put on Nikola Jokic this will be the perfect opportunity for Embiid to not only make the first team but also earn the MVP.
If James Harden can feed the ball to Embiid and make him a scoring champion while taking the 76ers to a high seed both awards will be a lock for Joel Embiid.
