Fantastic Four and the Fourth Ring

Golden State Warriors take it to win in the 6th

Congratulations are in order as the Golden State Warriors are the 2022 NBA Champions. The fantastic four: Curry, Green, Thompson, Igoudala, and the Warriors franchised have claimed yet another championship in just 8 years, cementing themselves as one of the best teams in the NBA franchise.

Steph Curry, collecting rings like Thanos, was rightfully named Finals MVP sealing the victory with 34 points. Strength in numbers is alive and well as Klay Thompson said addressing the press after the game.

This tale of a once consistent team who saw the finals every year since 2015, struggled to find their groove after 2019, have reclaimed the glory of champions is one to remember. Let’s highlight some special moments from this meaningful night.

First Quarter

I think its safe to say this had to be the highlight of the first quarter. Unlike the splash brothers, Green isn’t notorious for making threes. “For the entire postseason, he’s shooting a career-low 18% from three.” Draymond Green throughout all 6 games against the Celtics was 3% for 3’s made. Defense wins championships and Draymond came through for the dubs

Second Quarter

Warriors are up with positive momentum. Golden State is on a 21-0 run, the longest run the Finals have seen in the last 50 years. Celtics starting to experience foul trouble and a multitude of turnovers. Game 6 Klay was showing out during the second quarter.

Towards the end of the second quarter, Warriors took over the lead and were up 15 points.

Third Quarter

Draymond Green for 3. He put the Warriors on the board starting out the third quarter. Chef Curry with the pot cooks up another 3 from 30 feet.

Fourth Quarter

By the fourth quarter, Warriors triumphantly continued their lead. Their faith was prett much sealed with a three in the corner from Curry to Wiggins. Wiggins finished out with 18 points contributing to the 103- 90 victory

Fans Reaction

Maybe its better to wait after the game is finished to get permanently inked on your body… yikes

History Made

The Golden State Warriors continue to shatter records. Steph Curry, join players to have 4 rings, multiple mvps, and Finals MVP according to ESPN. The warriors now have they third- most champions in the NBA. Lastly, Steve Keer has won 9 titles, 4 as coach 5 as player, making him the 7th individual with a combined total of 9 titles as both coach and player.

Warriors won the championship before KD, with KD, and after KD as one Twitter user says. Congratulations to the Warriors once again and may the reign of the dubs continue.
