Nets vs. Lakers Has the NBA had enough (1)

These teams are preparing for the championship of the century

With the 2021-2022 NBA season Right around the corner, the Lakers and Nets are looking like the two Goliaths this season and with their additional pick-ups these teams are going to be very difficult to go up against.

The Nets:

The Nets are the favored contenders because of their offensive barrage containing 3 of some of the league’s best scorers; Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden. If these three stay healthy and available the Lakers are surely getting a run for their money. With these three starters all averaging above 20 points per game last season they are arguably the best offensive team in the NBA

The Lakers:

The Lakers are not to be overlooked because in addition to Lebron James a four time NBA champion and Four time league MVP and Anthony Davis, they have acquired Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Malik Monk, DeAndre Jordan, Dwight Howard, Kendrick Nun, Rajan Rondo and many key role players.

Averaging a whopping 23 ppg at LSU Cam Thomas is molded like an Elite level scorer and is looking to be a key role player for the Brooklyn Nets. After getting Drafted at 27, he was indeed a steal for Steve Nash and Brooklyn. He has a promising future in the NBA if he can recreate what he did at LSU in the League.

Will Anthony Davis remain Healthy?

This forward is a crucial part of the Lakers offense and is what gives Los Angeles an advantage when it comes to big men between the two Teams. Anthony Davis and the Lakers can potentially take the Nets if Healthy, Davis Averages 22 points per game, 8 rebounds and 3 assists which makes him a force both on offense and defense.

In addition to Davis staying healthy the Lakers should potentially have one of their best seasons possible with the addition of Dwight Howard and DeAdre Jordan because these are two interior forces that are traditional Centers so Anthony Davis can take the Position of the Power Forward Again.
