When you think of electrifying players in the NBA today, who is the first player that comes to mind? There have been countless Miller, (both Reggie and Mike) Jordan, LeBron, Ja, just to name a few. But for the sake of this article, I want to focus on one player in particular, that player being Stephen Curry.
Since Stephen Curry entered the league in 2009 with the seventh pick in the first round, Stephen Curry began to cement his legacy from the first time he ever stepped foot on the court. Having been a prolific three-point shooter in college at Davidson, This was only a continuation of what he was able to do and it’s why the future Hall of Famer is so beloved by many and a thrill to watch.
His electrifying performances captivate audiences on a regular basis. It could be a random Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Regardless, you’re getting your money’s worth whenever you buy a ticket to see the Warriors play. He has since earned multiple accolades throughout his playing career, such as four time NBA champion, NBA finals MVP, two time NBA MVP, and nine time All-Star game MVP. His work ethic and his dedication to his craft certainly makes him deserving of all those accolades and more.
Stephen Curry’s Greatness
Another component that I think makes Stephen Curry so great is his social activism. In 2020, after the killing of George Floyd, Curry and his wife Ayesha made a donation to Black Lives Matter specifically to black lives matter organizations in California and they even joined in on a protest march. He has since took advantage of his platform to advocate for various social justice issues. most recently, the release of WNBA Brittany Grinner from Russian prison.
Stephen Curry is the greatest of all time there’s no doubt about that. He continues to electrify crowds on a nightly basis, Whether in game or practice. His dedication and passion for the sport is evident every time he steps on the court… If only he can do so in a Miami Heat uniform.
